As we continue our second century of publication, Southern Funeral Director magazine looks forward to helping you succeed in the coming year and beyond. Started by in 1919 by my grandfather, John W. Yopp, Sr., we remain the oldest, family-owned and family-operated publication in funeral service.
For more than a century, our mission has been to provide funeral, cremation, and cemetery professionals with articles and industry news that helps to advance this noble profession. We strive to be an educational resource to everyone associated with funeral service - funeral and cemetery professionals, educators, suppliers, and other funeral professionals.
